Because using the same procedures and tools often generates the same results, the time has come to renew public policy taking a different approach, employing new tools. The success of such an endeavor resides in a subtle mix of inventiveness and humility, quality and common sense, sobriety and craftiness. Making this transformation implies developing new ways to design public policy.
How can innovative practices be more widely disseminated? How can a better-equipped community of public professionals be built?
The aim of the training component of RE•ACTEUR PUBLIC is to identify the conditions, via a collaborative learning process, for reinventing public policy in methodical fashion targeting the end result. The exercise is based on cooperation, multidisciplinarity and the culture of testing and trial and error.
