National, regional and local authorities team up to reinvent public policy

The partners

RE•ACTEUR PUBLIC experiments with original forms of public functioning and governance and reunites national, regional and local authorities focused on a common research and development program. An open platform, the consortium is designed to progressively take on a growing number of projects and new partners. Its members participate in concrete operations and exchange ideas with all public players involved in similar processes both in France and abroad.

La 27e région, re•acteur public’s operator

As platform operator, La 27e Région leads the program of activities on behalf of the consortium members. La 27e Région is a public policy transformation lab working with public administrations to design public policy differently. Via “research-action” programs, it tests methods and capabilities based on solution-based design and creative action, the social sciences and humanities (ethnography, field theory, participant observation), and on the practices of non-professionals (do-it-yourself, public education). Thus, the experience of users, agents and citizens becomes the point of departure for imagining the government administrations and public policies of tomorrow.
